an astronaut 3rd birthday party

one of my favorite things is helping my sister execute her kiddo's birthday parties! from his where the wild things are 1st birthday to his mickey mouse 2nd party, it's always a blast designing for him! for my nephew's 3rd birthday, he wanted an astronaut party! it was held at the oklahoma science museum and was the perfect setting for the babes! 

each food item and beverage were cleverly named: saturn's rings (donuts), rocket fuel (coffee) and rocket dogs (kolaches)! yum!!

how amazing is that moon cake with astronaut mickey on the top? amy cakes always does a fantastic job on the kid's cakes!

favors were moon rocks (pop rocks) and glo sticks, which all the kids LOVED!!
