a sequin + bow tie new year's eve party
this past new year's eve, aric and i and six of our wonderful friends had a sparkle themed party! the tone was set with a simple script square invitation with a large stripped belly band. they were tucked into black envelopes with gold writing.
we used the colors from the invitation for the rest of the details: food banners, champagne signs and coasters. the table was set with a black tablecloth, gold chargers, place setting mini champagne bottles with black & white paper straws and hot pink ribbon!
for dinner, we made fun skewer foods: pork belly sliders, prosciutto wrapped figs, savory herbed-stuffed mushrooms, crudites and pink champagne truffles!
