a chic fiesta rehearsal dinner invitation

i love when couple's have parties at mexican restaurants and theme them fiesta! i also find myself craving chips & queso while designing them. the bride and groom had their party at blue mesa in dallas last month and could only find designs that were over the top "fiesta-themed" and didn't have a classy enough feel for what they are going for. 

their wedding colors were mostly gray, but the bride-to-be was wearing a crimson dress for the rehearsal dinner so i designed the invitation off of that! the design features a chic & modern play off papel picado, which is mexican folk art made out of paper cut into elaborate designs.
