a baby party for miss nora belle
when one of my best friends, kendall, told me that she was pregnant, i immediately contacted her sister to start planing her the perfect baby shower! i knew i wanted to do something super fun and different for her, so the invitations were designed in a circle format! i think it's perfect playing off our theme of polka dots and all things pink!
i found out kendall & blake were having a baby by getting a card in the mail. a picture was taken of her chalkboard with the words: "oh my goodness, we're pregnant." i thought it would be so fun to use those words on the invitation! tied with gold glitter twine, we added a yellow stripe tag to the front of the invitation that featured a gummy bear: something kendall & blake called their little baby for awhile! around the gummy bear are the words: "sugar + spice + everything nice, lockets in pockets + dollies and rockets!
the back of the tag listed the shower hostesses and the fact that we couldn't wait to celebrate nora belle with them! the invitation suite was slipped into a square envelope and closed with gold polka dot washi tape!
the back of the invitation let guests know that this wasn't just any baby shower - it's a baby party for couple's! we had a taco truck do the food and we made our own texas tea cocktail (for everyone who wasn't expecting)!
for favors, we sent guests home with gummy bears of course (chocolate, cherry & white chocolate)!
we could not have a porter party without designing new cups! we had to figure out just what color cups we all had and do something different! we've had clear turned to pink, gold and yellow and many more! we decided on white and printed nora belle's monogram on one side and "miss nora belle" on the other side! we kept them generic so they can be used for her first birthday party or any other nbp event!
the other item that turned out to be my most absolute favorite was our custom napkins! printed on a fuchsia napkin in shiny 18 kt gold ink, featured her hashtag and polka dots! absolutely love these so much!
