remember the moleskine?

as you know - i'm a bit obsessed with mokeskine journals! i have one for myself and have already bought 3 as gifts - all different sizes and types! yesterday, i decided to customize one of the journals. i took directions from one of my favorite blogs - good stock. my plan was to customize the band on the cover with some different paper. i searched high and low for some cool paper and found this really neat stuff over on paper source!  here is the exact paper i got: silver swirls platinum vellum paper. it cut very easy, and i have TONS left over for more journals to customize, scrapbooking, or gift wrapping! here is the finished project:
